December events at the Library

The Library’s Wassail Party will take place in the entrance to the Library on Saturday, December 2nd from 1-4 PM.  Traditional Wassail punch and cookies will be served and Brian Oberlin will play holiday favorites on mandolin.
Everyone is invited to this free event.

On Tuesday December 5th at 6:30 PM, Nathan Palmer of To the Roots Coffee Roasters will talk about coffees of the world.  Nathan will be providing samples. The program will take place in the Rogers Meeting Room at the Library.
This talk is part of the Friends-sponsored Cultural Series.

October book sale

More than 50 volunteers made the Friends fall used book sale a success.  Sales of books and other media and membership fees totaled over $5,300.
All proceeds from the sale go to the Forest Grove City Library for programs like Summer Reading, Friends Cultural Series and Ted Talks.
The next sale will be April 16-21, 2018.
